Life as a rogue is hard. Always on the run, always having to hide. If a packed wolf finds you, on their territory, your as good as dead. But they don't get us. Not all of us chose to be this way. Not all rogue wolves chose to not live in a pack. Some are forced. Not all are blood thirsty. Not all kill for the sport. But no. Other wolves don't get that. Especially Alphas.

Not a week later, some dude showed up in a business suit, asking for two million dollars. Cash. My family reacted differently then most. They told the Alpha that, they didn't have two million dollars, but they did have a hard working fourteen year old daughter they would be willing to give up, in exchange for their own freedom. The Alpha took them up on their offer, which is how I, a human, ended up becoming a slave to the Blood Talon Pack. Unless, of course, a mate were to be thrown into the mix. .
