On the throne for a year, Kressara obeyed and advised her husband, but once a war started and the King fell ill, Kressara had no choice but to step up and do what no Queen before her had ever done - lead an army to battle.
Ezra was sent by Kressara’s mother to be an adviser and her protector - his life for hers if needed he placed himself in a difficult position when he vowed to see her live through the war and make it home. Little did he know that would be nearly impossible. other than his own death, the only other thing he had to worry about was falling in love with her.
