a poem about life

FUTILITY
By Peter Rose

The angry wind searches the darkened land,
The darkened land scowls at the restless sea,
The restless sea hisses frustration on the shore,
The shore shrugs its sandy shoulders, and carries on as before.

We humans seek ever changing stimulation,
We humans are frustrated with out novelty,
We humans are never content to let things be,
We humans are prime examples of futility.

Only humans think time drags so slow,
Only humans regret growing old,
Only humans inflict boredom temper on all,
Only humans think God should come when they call.

existential crisis: wellness and health

88 parts Ongoing Mature

-> for the ones who are hurt, heartbroken, overthinking, overwhelmed, and feel like they're slowly suffocating: -> for the ones who are deeply madly in love, are terribly obsessed, and or in a state of unrequitedness: -> for the ones who are self serving, self loving, and are seeking pleasure all the same... "I hope you find the comfort you are looking for"
