Acacia Filmann and Neil Perry were best friends. They would spend nearly every day together, and especially most nights in a cave beyond the river at Welton Academy, talking about anything and everything. They were perfect souls together, and were even predicted to marry each other when they would grow older.
But when Neil tragically and unexpectedly commits suicide, Acacia becomes tormented with trying to figure out why he did and can't go back to her normal life...that is, until one day, when Neil appears to her as an apparition, and her friendship with him turns into love.
