Screams for help were heard from a distance. Gunshots were fired. Helicopters flying over head. This was the City of Detroit, Michigan. I've only lived here for 3 days and I know that this is the highest crime rated city in the US. My name is Stella Hollomand, and I am on a mission to get out of this Hell Hole!
"Stella, your breakfast is ready!" Mom shouted from the kitchen. I walked downstairs with an oversized, blue sweater, undersized jeans, and perfectly sized converses on. "Waffles?" I asked. Mom looked back and smiled and placed a huge plate of waffles on the table. I grinned and my eyes lit up with joy. "We both get 5 or you can save some for later." Mom said. I picked up 2 waffles and drenched them in syrup. I ate them within a time limit of 30 seconds. I cleaned off my plate and took the other 3 without syrup and watched t.v.
"Honey! You start school tomorrow, are you excited?" Mom shrieked with excitement. "Eh. Not really. It's college mom." I said, transed in my phone.

SEQUEL OF REGRET <3 Sidney never got along with her parents. So one day when she finally decides to run away. She sees something she wasn't supposed to. With having a bad fight with her family then getting kidnapped what more could happen? ---------------------- As I walk down the side walk at...I check my phone. 3:18am. I sulk as I walk. "Stupid parents" "Stupid rules" "Stupid no cussing" "FUCK?!?" I yell louder than intended to. I continue to walk down the path and make my way to my favorite part of the city. I go up the hill and sit up at the top at the bottom of one of the letters of the Hollywood sign. I lean against the H and sigh deeply. Then I hear yelling. I hide behind the H this time and try to get a look at what is happening behind me. I see a couple of men arguing thinking it's just a drunk man fight my eyes soon focus on the tens of men in the shadows wearing all black. My breath gets caught in my throat as the man not in the shadows pulls out a gun and... BANG! BANG!! BANG!!! The noise seems to get louder the more the gun is fired off. I continue to watch completely frozen in shock. I make eye contact with one of them and automatically hide behind the sign completely. I hear at least 10 guns being drawn.Complete

No one stopped to look. No one glanced in the alley I cried in. I was tired of this place, so tired of the endless days that stretched out before me. I woke up at six at night to a loud alarm I went to the computer and it flashed PLEASE EXIT THE BUILDING IN THE NEXT 5 minuets 37 seconds and it started counting down. The printer was printing off the file I grabbed it, yelled for the twins, and ran to the garage. I opened the garage door and pulled off the cover to reveal a navy-blue Chevy Silverado, but no keys I ran back in to the house and tore apart the bed room until I found them. The clock was at 2 minutes 15 seconds I found the twins asleep on the couch, so I flipped it "what the hell" Jazz screamed "we need to go" I yelled back shoving them to the garage. I jumped in to the front seat and started the engine we were a mile away when we heard the explosion.
