Moon Fever.
The Moon once brought me up to its side, and we spent the night sharing memories. But as the night died, our conversation inevitably had to come to an end. The moon placed me back in my room, and I found that I was stricken by Moon Fever.
A collection of poems (and the occasional short story) I write while my thoughts are on the moon.

Standing in the cold, looking up at the moon... The stars seem to appear less today... I hear the howls in the distance. The cold breeze swings my way... but it doesn't seem to faze me... and when I'm here in the night... my mind drifts to you... So tell me, do you not feel the cold the moon brings? Don't you feel it's shadow in the night? Crawling from the depths to swallow you whole... The stars seem to disappear, now that the demons have come out to play. Wouldn't you like to break free from these shackles that binds you in the abyss? Open your eyes
all of the light went out. i could see the light but i could never walk towards it. i loved the feel of the sun...but i was never allowed in it. i wouldnt melt like the others, and i wouldnt sparkle like the others and i would criple in pain. i would fight it...but i didnt want to hurt those closest to me, thats why i didnt let him in. we were so close, they all thought that we were together...even he was confused. i was confused...i cannot afford to hurt him. he means so much to me and yet i have only known him for such a little time. i guess to escape the darkness...all i need to do is open my eyes.Complete
