Nora hates life. She'd rather spend 24/7 inside with her best friend Hax Gunner, playing video games. Hax is imaginary. He's got brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, and the top of his head is bright pink, mixed with a bleach blonde. Nora has long, light blue hair, that fades into white tips.. She has brown eyes also, and olive skin, with a crescent moon necklace on a silver chain, that Hax gave her for her 13th birthday. One day, while she was getting the mail for her mom, she saw a moving van parking in the driveway of her next door neighbor. She saw a boy, about 18, get out. It was love at first sight. He had brown hair, blue eyes, and a blue hoodie with a pair of faded jeans on. To afraid to talk to him, she darted back inside to confront Hax about it. It'd been two weeks before Nora mustered up the courage to talk to Jack. And the only reason was because they were partners for science fair. They soon found that they both had a love for video games, Nora liked to play them, Jack liked to make them. So, together, they built a ray that beamed the user INTO the game. Join Jack, Nora, and Hax, whom they make IN the game, as they battle their way through the newest game, Battle to the Core, facing challenge after challenge, changing who they are forever.

Certainly they could trust that those in power ultimately had the best interests of the people in mind, right? ~~~ Luna slouched low in her seat, staring at droplets of water that ran diagonally down the window of the bus. The sky was a flat, depressing grey and the incessant, soaking rain left her constantly chilled. It was a typical "liquid sunshine" day in the Pacific Northwest. They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed. Idiots.
