So they go on a road trip meeting up with people Cali trusted with deep parts of her miserable life from Zamron. With every person they meet, they learn terrifying and interesting stories about Calista. The both of them try piecing together her scattered thoughts and memories, hoping that once they know everything, they'll be able to see what Cali was going through and somehow understand. But Cali, still looking down on them from above, doesn't want them to find out. She pushed them away for a reason. Now she's torn between her brother and best friend finding out the truth (something she wanted to do, but eventually forced to forget about) or keeping them safe, away from her horrible thoughts and frightening memories. Jake and Rose have no idea what they're about to get themselves into.

He finds her, and because of her dormant wolf, he thinks she's human. Soon she goes missing, because her pack members sold her to a rogue pack. Alex searches, and searches, but cannot find her. Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not.
