This takes place years later, after the war of the Sandwing Queens defeated by the original dragonets, Sunny, Starflight, Clay, Glory, and Tsunami have put their mark on history and moved on. generations after generations has past and a new tribe have appeared. But this is the beginning while these eight dragonets, Drane, iciris, Scarab, Ocean, Darkmoon, Stone, Aerus, and Drizzle, all growing up together in a cave like the ones from the prophecy with four guardians as their minders.

The original story me and my friend have been working on is in Fanfiction, but that has stopped due to us coming up with a better idea with the characters and plot for our story, now being turned into a original instead of being a fanfic. Though this on is still a fanfic since the whole 'Dragonet Prophecy', living in a cave. having guardians and stealing eggs as well as the talons of peace and tribes (but the Twilightwing's) are Tui T. Sutherlands. Enjoy.

This book is a little outdated and will be getting a rewrite soon! ------------------ Fighting, dragons were always fighting in the Rainforest. Not physically, but verbally. The Rainforest Kingdom was being torn apart by its residents. The RainWing's and NightWing's. Queen Dandelion and King Palmtree are doing nothing to calm down their tribe, so, someone else has to. Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T. Except, they aren't the exact same dragonets that you know, having never lived under the mountain, never growing up together. Though they may still be the dragonets that you remember. -Daily updates- From chapter 2: Uhar woke, blinking in confusion at the light. He'd never seen anything this bright in his life. Looking out over the cliff, he saw the source, like a blinding flame that was thousands of times more powerful than any spark. It was round and it rested in the sky far above him, illuminating the ground below. It was strange in more ways than that. Since it seemed as if the sky itself was broken. The whiteness that had completely covered it before had moved. Revealing a bright endless blue behind. There were still patches of that whiteness far above, but they seemed fluffy now, no longer a blanket of dread covering the world. They were all different shapes and sizes, but they had none of the previously uniform aesthetic. The sky was turning bright colors as he watched, reds and oranges, reflecting off those white things into pinks and purples as well, it was the most wonderful thing that Uhar had ever seen, colors he'd never even imagined were in that sky. He watched the world in awe, feeling his ears rise with excitement. If this was the world his ancestors had left behind, he couldn't imagine why they'd ever wanted to leave.

Gill, that SkyWing from the patrol, and lastly her mother. And she killed all of those dragons for her and her friends' safety. Now that she's the queen of SeaWings she can FINALLY do what ever she needs without her friends getting in the way. And if they try anything it wouldn't hurt to put them in the dungeon, right? Clay made a promise to Tsunami a long time ago that he would always be her best friend no matter what. But it is hard to keep a promise like that when Tsunami has been constantly sending dragons to be executed. As time goes on Tsunami becomes worse and worse, to the point to where Clay can no longer ignore it and pretend everything's fine. But how can he stop Tsunami and be her friend at the same time? Would he have to choose one or the other? Turtle was always just a nobody in the sea. Then out of of blue Turtle loses his mother and father in one day, and his new sister, Tsunami, who seems to have popped out of nowhere, becomes the queen of the SeaWings. He was almost certain that she had some kind of evil inside her, but who would stop her, where was the hero? Turtle didn't know until he met and saved someone, who told him he was the hero. But can a nobody orphan really be a hero? Expect Tsunami and other character to act differently, but they will mostly be themselves (besides Tsunami).
