It's been three years since Nova Sparks started high school, and its  been three years since her first and only love moved away. Jerome Barnes was her partner in crime and he just left. Since then, Nova refused to let anyone in. She didn't want the trouble of getting to know someone when they always left eventually. But that was before Bo Smith.

Bo Smith was a starting varsity player, an academic legend, and most importantly a senior. He's the exact definition of a temporary person. But he's taken an interest in Nova that's unshakeable. And when he kisses her after one of his games, everything changes. Nova begins to open up and it's everything he wanted. But secrets from both of their pasts threaten to destroy their relationship before it begins. Yet Taylor High School will find out what happens when a football player falls for the schools biggest introvert.

His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!
