It's been three years since Nova Sparks started high school, and its been three years since her first and only love moved away. Jerome Barnes was her partner in crime and he just left. Since then, Nova refused to let anyone in. She didn't want the trouble of getting to know someone when they always left eventually. But that was before Bo Smith.
Bo Smith was a starting varsity player, an academic legend, and most importantly a senior. He's the exact definition of a temporary person. But he's taken an interest in Nova that's unshakeable. And when he kisses her after one of his games, everything changes. Nova begins to open up and it's everything he wanted.
