Lana Rider was normal, just a teenage girl living in Minneapolis, Minnesota until she began to remember things she shouldn't be able to. The building of the Egyptian pyramids, living among the Native Americans, the Aztecs, Mayans, Persians, Mesopotamian, the rise and fall of Rome. At first she dismisses them as fantasies until a boy who's eyes are unmistakable shows up at her school.

James Lyon has lived his whole life on the knife edge of a line that is the veil between our world and the world of the elementals. He is the host of a wind wolves' spirit, and the son of a long line of elementals. When he moves to Minnesota he meets her, a Phoenix's host, an elemental with ability over flames and the blessing, and curse, of reincarnation. The only thing is... he has met her before.

When these two meet again, they realize the power of blood bonds. As if their situation wasn't complicated enough, add in a powerful prophecy, a plot to bring the two worlds together, and the fact that Lana has no idea what she's doing. How many things could possibly go wrong.
