I take Annie's car while she is passed out on the couch and go driving. I go down the same street that I crashed on the other night.

I park the car and start to walk towards the lake that Ogima was waiting for me.

"Charlotte." The whisper says.

"Who's here?" I wonder.

"Come find me, Charlotte." Another whisper says.

I glance around and I don't see anybody. "Charlotte..." the whisper repeats. I start to run further into the trees to try an escape, but the whispers get louder.

"Leave me alone!" I scream.

I run as fast as I can which isn't fast because I haven't ran in years because of my heart. I had almost forgotten how. I look behind me to see if someone was following, but nobody was there. I turn back around and run right into the person I was looking for.

"Abitha?" I question as I stare down into her eyes.

"Are you going to get up or not?" She raises an eyebrow. "Not that I don't like this position." She smirks.

His Mate: Prince Asher

"I know you are there," she said, her heart beating loud in her chest as her eyes searched frantically around. "I can...sense you." She added, hoping that might just scare whoever of whatever that was following her. She sighed, waiting for an answer or a noise, or anything that would just alert her of the ubiquitous presence with her. However, when a long time passed and nothing happened -the trees were still as still as they were and the moonlight shone as brightly- she counted from one to ten and turned to continue on her walk but she stopped frozen when she came face to face with the biggest wolf she had ever seen. Her heart jumped out of her chest when her eyes locked with it's red ones. A late run in the woods one night brought Asher to human teenagers camping in the woods. The fact that they could feel free to party there despite all the stories told about the woods interest him and a flitting thought to see what they were up to brought him face to face to someone he never thought he would meet. She was not pretty and wasn't even the average of his taste in women but there was something about her that seemed to pull him and seemed to calm his raging demon. But apart from that was something else, something that screamed danger and might ruin all his years of effort.
