2 weeks after the world goes to shit Rebecca Evans meets some redneck, named Daryl Dixon. 

How? 
Crossbow to her face. Knife to his. 

She doesn't understand her feelings she feels towards him. After the gruesome death of her parents, she was left only to love and care for her young brother, Dillan. She hasn't really had a full feeling of love. Daryl doesn't make it easy with the mood swings and cold behavior. The apocalypse isn't the only thing she is trying to survive.
