Rushing to the park I looked around anxiously for any signs of my best friend. My best friends name was Nico Di Angelo, he's really hyper and loves Mytho Magic like me. Even though he always eat me it was always fun challenging him to matches, my favorite always being Poseidon, I always admired his strength and powers. I smiled widely as I saw Nico running down the road approaching me with tears appearing in his chocolate eyes. I look at him confused before he tackled me into a bone crushing hug causing me to fall to the ground, I groaned as I made contact with the rough ground below me but brushed it off and hugged Nico back.
"What's the matter Nico?" I said obviously confused by my friends current state. "My moms making me move back to Italy." He managed to choke out as his grip on me tightened. "I gently rubbed his back in circular motion knowing it helped calm him down before pulling back and looking him in the eyes, moving my hands so my thumbs could wipe his tears away. "It'll be fine Nico, we'll always be best friends right? A little space won't keep us apart." I smiled before seeing him nod and wiping his tears and giving me his best smile before his mom began calling him. I gave him a sad smile before hugging him and watching him run off into the distance waving me goodbye.

Okay, so I'd just like to say that this is not well written whatsoever lol. All the grammar is correct, and there's some decent description, but it all feels very rushed if I'm honest. I tried to cram too many ideas in and yeah, it made.. whatever this is. Uh, I have some one-shots on my profile which might be better to read?... If you don't mind a fic being rushed this is probably great for you, lol, but the plot line is very higgledy piggeldy. Um, enjoy? Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. (This is future me in brackets, btw, it did not turn out well lmao). In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul. The ships are: Pipabeth - Piper + Annabeth Chrisse - Clarisse + Chris Solangelo - Nico + Will Valgrace (platonic) - Jason + Leo because I despise Caleo sorry lmao Perpollo - Percy + Apollo I do not own any of these characters, all rights are to Rick Riordan other than the storyline/plot. Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). So, Nico would allow this filter, this light, to cover him, shroud him in kindness, and possibility, and warmth. But he would not cross further.
