Rushing to the park I looked around anxiously for any signs of my best friend. My best friends name was Nico Di Angelo, he's really hyper and loves Mytho Magic like me. Even though he always eat me it was always fun challenging him to matches, my favorite always being Poseidon, I always admired his strength and powers. I smiled widely as I saw Nico running down the road approaching me with tears appearing in his chocolate eyes. I look at him confused before he tackled me into a bone crushing hug causing me to fall to the ground, I groaned as I made contact with the rough ground below me but brushed it off and hugged Nico back.

"What's the matter Nico?" I said obviously confused by my friends current state. "My moms making me move back to Italy." He managed to choke out as his grip on me tightened. "I gently rubbed his back in circular motion knowing it helped calm him down before pulling back and looking him in the eyes, moving my hands so my thumbs could wipe his tears away. "It'll be fine Nico, we'll always be best friends right? A little space won't keep us apart." I smiled before seeing him nod and wiping his tears and giving me his best smile before his mom began calling him. I gave him a sad smile before hugging him and watching him run off into the distance waving me goodbye.

He had allowed his infatuation with Percy to rule his life, his decisions, for far to many years. His wings had grown heavy, and he'd drowned. Icarus had made a mistake. He strayed too far, entranced by the kindness of the light. The dark wouldn't be as welcoming, ushering you in with no hesitancy and crossed arms. That didn't work out so well for Icarus. So, Nico would allow this filter, this light, to cover him, shroud him in kindness, and possibility, and warmth. But he would not cross further. Okay, so I'd just like to say that this is not well written whatsoever lol. All the grammar is correct, and there's some decent description, but it all feels very rushed if I'm honest. I tried to cram too many ideas in and yeah, it made.. whatever this is. Uh, I have some one-shots on my profile which might be better to read?... If you don't mind a fic being rushed this is probably great for you, lol, but the plot line is very higgledy piggeldy. Um, enjoy? Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. (This is future me in brackets, btw, it did not turn out well lmao). In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul. This story is about Percy self harming, and Nico helping him, there are mentions of dizziness, the feeling of starving, graphic self harm/injuries, blood, graphic thoughts of a person with depression, and probably something like psychological horror. If any of that makes you uncomfortable, don't read!!! I don't think I'm going to get any backlash for anything but if you comment, I'm probably not going to answer you! To the people who leave nice comments, I do read all of them and it is appreciated! this is my first published work, I just wanted to add something to this cool community and maybe live a little vicariously through the characters.
