Things are changing.

With the reversal of the curse, the world has been plunged into a new, darker age, one controlled by Keon and his followers. Their powers have increased, their will has strengthened, and their oppression of Avexyr-kind has become as thick and merciless as the winter.

Not only this, but as the time of the Prophecy draws closer, the veil between this world and the next is mysteriously slipping and changing, growing steadily weaker. Ghosts are attacking humans, powers are awakening in the sick, and the horrors of the otherworld are surging to life, terrorising families, towns and cities.

Melissa can sense things coming to a conclusion. Her visions have grown darker and more urgent. Panic amongst the council has created a threatening disintegration of assistance and trust. And the line between reality and illusion, friend and enemy, has become dangerously blurred.
