It starts with a simple itch, nothing more. Maybe a few random spasms or the occasional shudder but you'll think nothing of it. Then you'll get blood shot eyes... Not enough sleep? It gets worse, much worse. The itching turns to scratching, clawing at you skin until it bleeds... and bleeds and bleeds. Then comes the anger which tips you over the top making you brake into a full blown seizure. Madness. You still with me? Well you won't be if they catch you, you'll be one of them...infected.

Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.

It showed that the dead was somehow walking and eating people. She was unsure of what to do and wanted to break dwn crying. She remembered what her dad told her at that moment "(Y/N), whenever you are in a situation that calls for survival get a weapon. You will also need a bag to carry things like food and medical supplies. just dont be dumb." your dad was always a suvivalist and tryed to teach you to be one. You also had your dog sleeping in your parents room but, the tv showed that a large heard of the zombies was heading right for you neighborhood. What will you do.
