This is my entry for NaNoWriMo 2015! Once finished, I will be revising it and getting it ready to send out for publishing. (Somehow) I will be uploading various excerpts from the novel periodically.

Ash Lachrimae met Celosia three years ago during a random encounter in their freshman year and they've been friends ever since. The Gothic, raven-haired wonder intrigued Ash from the very moment he first heard her soft voice. He never bothered to intrude upon their simple friendship, until he received the wrong class schedule. Now he's neck deep in all of Celosia's social and mental drama.
And he loves it. But there's only one problem.
Celosia Branwen, quite literally, has a death wish.

Learning How to Bend
Liliana "Lily" Hamill is just your average working woman. 5'5" with wavy brown hair the color of milk chocolate and blue eyes, she's never been described by anyone as "a catch." She's pretty enough, what with her athletic frame and well-proportioned face. She rises every day, runs almost every morning, and gets ready for work just like many twenty-something-year-olds in the United States. She's been working mostly in the marketing department at Andino Incorporated since she graduated from a college in Texas at twenty-one, and she's lived in New York City for the past two. She doesn't think she's anyone special. But she is, because Lily has been blind since birth, although her disability has never held her back. That burden has fallen on her insecurities. Now, though, she's attempting to face her fears. Her closest childhood friend, Joseph Montran, has invited her to a company social event, and Lily grudgingly has agreed to go. All she knows is that it's informal, that she and her guide dog, Chelise, can mostly hang out with Joe and his wife, Katherine, if that's what Lily wants, and that she shouldn't be afraid to "act natural." {NaNoWriMo14} THIS IS UNEDITED, RUSHED AND REALLY REALLY BAD. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK CAUSE THIS ISNT MY BEST WORK. Ava Montgomery works at Bloomsbury Cafe in Manhattan. Carter Richmond is the heir to Richmond Corp one of the biggest companies in the country. Now, why would two very different people from very different backgrounds even breathe the same air? Well, you see, George Montgomery, Ava's father had recently passed and with his passing, he has left a two point five million dollar debt to the only daughter willing enough to pay it. Carter had just recently earned himself an ultimatum. A chance meeting with Carter an old childhood friend of hers will help them get what they want. Carter offers to remove Ava's entire debt and make her life easier if she agrees to marry him but on one condition. She must not fall in love with him. It seems reasonable since Carter is not the kind of guy Ava would be interested in but opposites do attract. Luna White, a 21 year old girl, always had her life planned out ahead since she was a child. She always wanted to have a job that would help bring peace and justice to the community. Making new friends, loosing old friends and getting to learn yourself are the typical university experience. However, being betrayed by loved ones and having a rival that loathes you to the core shouldn't find themselves in the equation.
