"How is it no one knows?" I asked him staring into his dark brooding eyes.

"I wouldn't say no one knows." he smiled slyly as he caressed my cheek. My breath hitched at the contact.

"You aren't cold." I stated wrapping my small fingers around the hand that was caressing my cheek, causing the butterflies to let loose in my tummy.

"I know." he smiled, a glint of amusement in his eyes, but it was hard to say since they were now a smokey gray.

"Why?" I asked, hating the way my voice was so breathless.

"Because I am the master of human deceiving." He said with confidence, leaning into me, his voice even more huskier than before. I swallowed at our proximity, fighting through the heaviness of my tongue and the pink that I knew tainted my cheeks.

"I guess that makes the both of us."
