In this society located in the heart of Tennessee, in a city called Nashville, everyone is expected to be nothing less than perfection. The girls in their tech-dresses, their high heels, flawless skin. The guys with their built and chiseled bodies, superhero instincts, and fearless selves. Everyone is expected of perfection. But, here's the deal. Fourteen year old Kat is not like everyone else. She isn't built to perfection, like her family or everyone else is. When the government finds out about Kat, she is taken to a secret government facility to be tested on and to be made perfect for once. In a city that is destroyed and so imperfect, everyone has to be more. They have to be perfect. Kat is not like the others. She is IMPERFECT.All Rights Reserved

What makes matters even worse is that human friend Ben is absolutely terrified of Tyler and Tyler can not stand the sight of Ben. When things finally seem to go back to normal it all blows up in their face one more time, this time the explosion is so big people die and Alex is forced to kill. Will she be able to ever become a normal teenganger again, especially after meeting so many people and seeing so many of them die one by one in front of her eyes. Will she ever be able to get the image of killing out of her head. And will this all ever even stop?! Or is she going to have to be scared for her life for as long as she lives!
