My 56,970-word book The Healer, is a science fiction novel set in the year 2181. Dr. Reynolds Cully is awarded a Harvard grant to travel to Mars with his family. His assignment is to research the physiology of an ancient race there, now long extinct. All their recorded history lies within the titanic edifice known as The Face on Mars. But while there, authorities discover an eons old Martian time/space travel device. This is apparently how they explored the universe, when dinosaurs still ruled our Earth. But a mystery has always intrigued him: he is granted a National Science Foundation grant to use the ancient device, and travel to Earth in the year 2013, to try and solve the medical mystery known as The Great Alaskan Plague of 2012. Eventually he does reveal the cause. But unbeknownst to him, back in 2181 Mars, a sinister group of religious zealots known as the Creation Purity Brigade, believe unearthing of Martian artifacts and cultural icons is sacrilege and blasphemy to Judeo-Christianity. And they blow up the time/space travel apparatus! Dr. Cully is now stranded in a violent & primitive world - ours; 168 years and 150 million miles from his wife & children. How will he survive? How will he heal using 22nd century technology, without exposing his real identity; and possibly altering the course of history in doing so? It is a crisis of conscience he must grapple with. But he has no choice. For he is - THE HEALER.

An old school friend invites the protagonist to his home in Ghorka, Nepal. After a few months staying there, his friend returns for a while to England leaving Mark in Nepal. The world is hit by powerful solar storms which knock out everything electric. His friend, Sabin, has to return to Nepal come what may, so he begins a journey on foot across Europe, where he meets a fellow Nepalese, and they join company. Their journey is hastened when they are picked up by a Sikh pilot in a small plane returning to India. Taking advantage of lulls in the solar storms, they hop across the Middle East until they reach India. The plane cannot continue, so they split up on foot, with the pilot heading to his home, while the two Nepalese men head for theirs. At last Sabin finds himself in Kathmandu, where he leaves his friend and picks up a small packet of seeds from the Post Office. Shortly after, he arrives in Gorkha where his wife and Mark are waiting for him. No sooner has he rested, than a group of Tibetan monks arrive in the village carrying messages to the Dalai Lama in India. They also carry one for Sabin, from his uncle in a monastery near Mount Kailash. His uncle requests his presence, so Mark and Sabin leave on horseback and head into the Himalayas. After a long and arduous journey they arrive at the monastery, where the monk asks them to take a message to a monastery further north which is unknown to the Chinese, and not on any map. They set off into the mountains, and find themselves sheltering in a cave from a terrible snowstorm. Coming out of the cave in the morning, a group of unusual rescuers are waiting to take them to their destination. A walk through a tunnel in a mountain, leads them to a hidden valley of warm sunshine and green fields.Complete
Discovering Time
So, you want to know about interdimensional monsters? Well, I hope this explains it a little bit. A jaded 20 something named Anita, without a job, decides to go follow the longings of her mother and accompany her, along with her sister+kids, to the western United States - "middle of nowhere" Montana. It is on there second day there that they stumble upon an abandoned mining town called Bannack. Rita is so intrigued in the lives of those that once lived here, that she goes exploring at night and during a thunderstorm. Robert Wentforth, descendant of Scottish highlanders, also decides to leave his comforting midwestern town. He takes along with him his wife and two kids, who die of disease. After drinking himself numb, he decides to clean up his life. He prays in church, and then finds a woman thrown at his feet. This woman claims she's in the wrong time period. Discovering Time is a story about being called out on a journey bigger than yourself.Complete

See your local doctor to receive treatment for such ailments, as your Face is incapable of doing so. Your Face, as you may have heard, will be your new identity from this day forward. Trust is a word that can easily be broken through breath, but survival is a word that can only be broken by death. Nikolas Clover's goal was to keep his family safe as they joined the Advors, a group of humans against the Resinix alien race. However escaping from the Proditors, a group of humans who standby the Resinix, would be anything but easy. They lived in a small town in Colombia called Salento located North just off the edge of the Amazon Rainforest. The Advors remained hidden under the tall rainforest trees while the Resinix and Proditors ruled the rest of the Earth with an iron fist. The Clovers lived in hiding as they waited for their moment to leave the Proditor infested town. However, suspicion would soon arise. Escaping would feel like hell, but the thought of surviving would feel inconceivable. ~I've dedicated a song from YouTube that fits well with each chapter to enhance the reader experience if you choose to play it!
