Hermione Granger is now head girl and can't wait to go back and finish her final year however her long-time boyfriend Ron decided to break up with her but luckily she's got all the support she can get from her close friends. Draco Malfoy on the other hand reluctantly goes back to Hogwarts. He's been trying to protect his mother from his father until he receives a Howler saying she ran away and it's all his fault. His heart breaks, his self-esteem lowers and no one is there to support him. What does Hermione do to save him from a terrible future and how does she manage to mend his heart and make him alive again?

So begins Draco's travesty of an "Eighth Year," where nothing goes to plan and good deeds NEVER pay. His mother owls him daily prophecies of doom, a rabid she-weasel stalks him through the castle, and his mad roommate from Durmstrang plots to avenge the Dark Lord. Each day Draco struggles with his worst nature and often loses. Every night brings Granger back again, wreaking havoc with his body and mind.
