She decides to explore her new environment anyway, when she comes across trouble. She is kidnapped and harshly maltreated. She later finds out she's not the only captive. Together with her new friend, they agree to hatch a plan of escape. But when her fellow captive is killed, all hope of attaining freedom is lost.
