After a fire spreads in the small town of Wintercrest and kills over 90 people the town turned upside down. What was a tourist attraction back in the day, became an abandoned town home to only a few. Women were left widowed, children left without a parent, mothers lost their children, fathers did too. Houses lost their owners and the people living in the town lost everything.
This isn't the only tragedy Wintercrest has been struck with. Mysteries are still left to be solved, since there seems to be a fire every 16 years and the same amount of people always die.
The mysteries start to unravel on the traditional mourning day of the town. Everyone would take a day off to grieve and mourn for their lost love ones, but not the few children left in the town. They go out to either play football or just hang about. Everything is going fine for them, until two of the children go missing - last seen entering the forbidden house. Will the mysteries of Wintercrest ever be solved? Will the truth finally be revealed? That is all up to the two naive teenagers, Benjamin Peter Elton and Taylor Hughes..
