ALEXIS I was 3 years old when I was diagnosed with cancer in my right leg, I'm 16 now and my leg is amputated. I live in a small town in Ontario called Victoria. I'm Alexis Stewarts and I've fallen in love. The boy I so dearly adore is Jonas Vanture. He makes me feel like the prettiest girl in the world even though I have short hair and an artificial leg. There are very few things I remember from having cancer, I can remember the loss of my leg, the worry from my parents, and how I was always sick and upset from the chemo-therapy I was undergoing. My mother has told me a few times out of my 4 near death experiences that it's okay to let go. But, as lucky as I am to be alive I don't have much time left. I've been re-diagnosed with neuroblastoma a rare cancer of the blood. I only have about 3 months left to live. My family is falling apart; my parents are trying to keep it together but in a way every time I get sick it brings us closer together. I wonder if things will ever get better, if I will get better.
