"She's not you Tay, she's not the one I love." He said, caressing my cheek with his thumb.
I couldn't look him in the eye. Not when I knew the hurt I was going to cause him in just a few more minutes.

Brooklyn Taylor was in love. But she always questioned, "Isn't Love supposed to be easy, without any complications?" For Brook to be able to be with the one that she loved, it seemed as though Romeo and Juliet had it easy. She had to win the approval of Caleb's parents who seemed like the only time they would enjoy spending time with her was if she was being tortured by them. Brook's best friend, Aubree also loved the same guy. At the same time, she did not want to be a burden to Caleb. To fix all of these problems, she decided to be selfless and do a noble thing, giving up the guy and letting Caleb go. However, what if she realises that in the end this act was just going to hurt both Caleb and herself? So as the saying goes, "If you love something let it go, if it comes back it's yours forever." Will Caleb come back to her? Or will Brook be forever living in regret?
