Dean and Castiel haven't been so honest with each other as of late, not really since high school, and Sam has observed it far too much to hold his tongue. The separation is killing the both of them and the never ending loneliness is unbearable. Sam is still having occasional nightmares involving Jess, and without help from his broken big brother, finds solace in an interested Balthazar, and countless other familiar faces. Will any of these half written promises hold up or will they just be left with a broken seal?
