Panic, pain, anxiety. Panic attacks plagued you for your entire life, holding back your potential and strength to be L's successor back at Wammy's house. Only L's great stories soothed your anxiety for a prolonged period of time. Now that L has died, your attacks have been getting worse. The recently-solved Kira case has left you all traumatized after seeing your close friend (Mello) and your boyfriend (Matt) nearly die. You have to thank Near (and his quick thinking) for saving their lives. Now, you three are a bunch of stupid kids working for the FBI, the CIA and as a video game beta tester, with nothing better to do. Matt has tried his best to help you cope with your anxiety, but he really doesn't know what to do. He has his own problems with ADHD and gaming. (You can't really blame him.) Mello has also changed after the Kira case. He has been moody an irritable lately. You've been desperately searching for a cure, for all of your mental states. What is the one thing now, that can fix all the problems?

The institution known as Wammy's House was, as you probably already know, founded for the purpose of raising extraordinarily gifted children that would grow up to benefit society. An undeniably noble goal. And yet, that quiet orphanage in Winchester hides behind its modest facade the bloodied remains of two innocent children who's traumas would haunt their legacy forever. The generation of failures - A and B. We all know of the infamous B, Beyond Birthday, perpetrator of the Los Angeles BB Murder Cases. The symphony of his life was a tragic, cascading hysteria; ringing of fury and devastation in the ears of our troubled organisation. ...But what of A? Well, the official story goes like this: A (or Above Asphodel), was the first of L's successors, and, unable to handle the enormous pressure, committed suicide at seventeen. But that's inaccurate. In truth, A suffered years of abuse that the hands of the Wammy's House. And more importantly, A didn't truly die. Every life can be read as a parable with a moral and a theme. Those of us whose lives were marred by extreme misfortune are given temporary refuge from death and rebirth to heal the wounds they suffered. Above Asphodel was one of these people. And, seven years after Above's suicide, the detective known as L met an untimely death as well, at the hands of Kira. His too was a life cut short; a story incomplete. But there's no such thing as 'the end'. There is no final act of existence. The fact is, we continue to exist long after we're gone, the only difference being what form we take, and for what purpose. And the Universe, in her usual enigmatic fashion, chose to continue the stories of the first two Wammy's kids post-mortem.

When one team hits a snag in their case on Beyond Birthday's most recent murders, the newcomer, Bambi, is sent to aid them. You wake up one day with no memories of the last four years, however just as you start trying to recover from all the mixed feelings you started having, you discover that your little brother is in suspicion of being the notorious killer 'kira'.What makes things worse is that this case is being handled by the world's greatest detective 'L' with whom you so conveniently started feeling some sort of connection with.Is L someone from your past? Is your brother actually Kira? how did you lose your memories? An Lxreader fanfiction, I'm doing this solely for fun because Idk. I do not own the pictures, characters and the original storyline from the manga series(and anime) 'Death Note' (which will be used in this book for storyline purposes).
