"I'm your guardian angel, Dean Winchester." "Bullshit." Ariel had one purpose in all of her millennials of life. Protect Dean Winchester. But that's kinda hard to do when you've been locked in Heaven's prison for more than three thousand years for interfering in an archangels business. But hey, well behaved angels never make history. But then a fellow angel, a brother-in-arms rebels, tearing up the entire script and setting her free, free to fulfill the purpose given to her by her Father. But unfortunately, Dean Winchester is far more damaged than she could have ever imagined. When she is finally able to track him down, his anger towards her absence leads him to reject his "guardian angel." Frustrated at his rejection, she shadows him and his younger brother, picking off dangers just along the sidelines and slowly learning just what makes Dean Winchester tick. But while Dean keeps ticking, Sam gets more and more impulsive and increasingly violent, putting his older brother in jeopardy and making Ariel's job that much harder. Top it all off with the threat of the original Mother, a Civil War in heaven, and an angel going dark side for the promise of Purgatory, and Ariel is up to her feathers in problems concerning the eldest surviving Winchester. Nobody said it was easy, but no one ever said it would be this hard.
