Everything was just so sudden. I faint, then I was in hospital. Then I find out about a disease, and then got captured by a man in a black suit. After that, I ended up in a truck with two idiots and some other people, and now I'm waiting to see what is Enmity going to do. - A great week. 

Mae Price, suddenly struck down by a strange disease, finds out she is quite different to everyone else infected. Her mother has something to do with it, but there is no way she will find out what without the help of her two idiots in a truck - Dayton and Alex. Coincidently, her friend Alice catches the disease too, but needs serious treatment. Giving up her spot on the waiting list, Mae realises she had three months before she is back at the top of the waiting list and can get her own treatment.
