Christina has no friends, doesn't talk to anyone, and basically tries to not to exist. But when she falls asleep in History, she lands into detention and Ethan Myers's arms...literally. 

Chris is always irritable and ill-tempered but wasn't that way before. Something disastrous happened in the past that had changed her into the monster she is now. Chris claims that is the reason behind her crabby behavior.

But she refuses to reveal her secret. 

You don't realize how much a single event can change a person. The once happiest person in the world could become empty and hollow, much like Chris.

The thing is, Christina Rose has lots of potential but won't accept it. She ignores everyone and is naturally rude and disputatious. Sometimes she regrets her actions, but most of the time, she could care less.

Ethan can change that. Or at least, he tries to. He knows Chris is capable of being more approachable and kind, he can see it deep inside of her, hiding and never coming out.
