Marlie LeMaire has been aloof to the bad in the world since her storms turned into spring showers, but one Friday that changes changes when she meets Abby Glendon, in the midst of a storm of her own, at the bus stop in a rain storm. Her eyes reopen as she befriends Abbey and begins to help others who are dealing with stuff. She also meets a boy who is going through a storm, equivalent to a category five hurricane.
