The Shadowhunters had gotten word that there was a demon roaming free in the outskirts of New York, down in the woods.
The Lightwoods, Clary, and Magnus must do their sworn duty to protect the people.
As Alec fights bravely, he doesn't see the poisoned spikes coming towards him. What he does see is Magnus take it for him.
