    Star Butterfly is the princess of Mewni. She is adventurous and fights monsters, but her mother does not approve. She sends Star to a dimension called "Earth". There, she is placed with the Diaz family to live with. Marco Diaz is a normal boy and is called "Safe Kid" at school. At first, Marco didn't like Star but soon began to warm up to her and they became best friends.
