"I'm done running. I'm done accepting. You should know that." -Hailey Stone-
"Now you listen here, I've waited my whole life for you so the only time I'll be letting you go is when Hell starts farting rainbows which is never!" -Jedrick Henrey-
"Don't. Just stop. Don't even ask to pay for something we both know you can't give." -Daryl Adams-
"That's the bloody problem. Despite everything that's happened, how can you expect me to be the same person?" -?-
"All of this, everything...It's all my fault. Don't deny it. I've known for a long time. I've always known." -?-

Hailey Stone was quite happy to keep to herself and her brothers after moving to a new town. After all, with all the moving they had done, it was common sense to never let anyone near her since in the end, she just moves away.
Besides, the only person who was so dear to her was gone. Like her parents.
She wasn't even expecting to still be on town for more than two months.
Jedrick Henrey could've been happy. He had everything everyone would want. Doting parents, a sweet and lovable sister, loyal friends, and power. After all, with his eighteenth birthday nearing, it would mean that the Alpha title would be his soon. But the problem was, he wanted his mate.
And upon finding her, he was stunned to find out that she could not feel their mate bond even if she was just a Human.
It was beyond weird.
Especially since instead of falling for him, she's already dead set on her hatred for him for an unknown reason.
With only a one sided mate bond, how the hell is he going to convince her otherwise?
And it doesn't help that she unintentionally befriended the Vampire who's not his most favorite person and vice versa.
(Currently being rewritten) There was nothing more frustrating than being the best friend of the one of only Damon Salvatore. Finley Maddox had the sometimes-unfortunate role of being said best friend.
She and Damon had been best friends since he and his brother were human. Things, however, don't always last long. Fin felt awful for leaving when she did but had done it with the right intentions. She knew it needed to be done, if not for the possibility of the town questioning her inability to age, then for knowing that she couldn't allow herself to get attached. Knowing she had to go eventually before people got suspicious, later finding out her best friend and his brother had been turned in vampires by the one and only Katherine Pierce
90% of the time, things were somewhat normal and for the two, even normal was bizarre. But Fin managed to keep her wits intact while also protecting one of the few she actually cared about. Things got harder when Damon and his brother Stefan moved back to Mystic Falls; Stefan wanting to have a bit of normality in his life and Damon, in search of who he thought to be the woman he loved. Safe to say, that although Fin stayed where she lived while Damon went to Mystic Falls, it wasn't long before Damon called her and asked for her to come help him.
