How do you go from being a friendless loser to having the most popularist girls fighting to be your best friend? Well, when you get to decide who gets to be prom queen, everything changes. From signing autographs for adoring freshmans to hanging with your crush; not to mention the RUMORS going around about you dating your brother..... EXCERPT: “Hello, everyone!” The usual perky voice said into the intercom, “Today, we're having a group of various foods and you have a choice on what you want. Now Prom is next Saturday and I know everyone can't wait. I know you want to know who your prom queen is so........oh? Well, it seems that Ally Brownstone has not voted. The scores are even and Ally has to pick a winner. We are giving Ally until next Thursday to pick. I hope you make everyday a fantastic day.” Suddenly, my mom's yummy pancakes that I had for breakfast felt like they might come up. All eyes turned to me and I looked down. I couldn't even look into Mason's confused face. His eyes looked even bluer in that moment. When class ended Irina walked over to me. All eyes were on her in the hallway. "Hey, girl! I really like your hair color and I just wanted you to know, pick me for prom queen!" She said in her super fake voice that I've always hated. "Um…are you serious?" I asked, feeling suddenly intimidated by her looks. She was taller than me and had an evil glint in her eyes. Her heels were really high, her green eyes bored into me, to where I couldn't look away. She leaned in and hugged me, “Yes, and you'd better. I can make your whole life a misery if you don’t.” From someone's view it looked like we were sharing a friendly hug, but I knew better. I know. My life is a big ball of happiness.

"I didn't call you over here," she told him calmly. "I know but you were staring so hard I figured you needed something," he told her with his infuriating smirk. She smiled sweetly in return, "Now, what could I possibly want from you?" His eyes roamed over her face for a minute before his arm shot out and wrapped around her waist. She let out a surprised gasp as she suddenly found herself pressed up against him. She shivered involuntarily as she felt his breath fan her face and stiffened again as she realized how close his face was to her own. •••••••• A story about a group of friends going after the boys they've been secretly in love with for all of high school.
