Dragons have been disappearing from all over Pyrrhia from every Tribe. No one knows for sure whrere they go to--they only know that they will not come back. A young SkyWing named Ozone also gets captured, but not all is lost for her. Some unexpected allies may appear, along with a cheeky lovable SeaWing and an unexplainable RainWing. Is there a chance for her to make it out alive? Or will she die in the horrible Prison Grimheart?

Hare will do whatever it takes to see the war end and let the continent live in peace. She will give the SandWings a queen, though she's not sure she'd be able to watch her mother die. When Hare realizes that there's no convincing her friends to keep trying, she turns to another group of dragonets to ask them for help. Flame hates the prophecy. He hates his stupid fate and the stupid NightWing that threw him into this mess. When he finds out the prophecy was fake all along, he's more than happy to give up. He wants nothing more than to go home and see his mother, especially after all that's happened. But Hare manages to be convincing enough, and the last thing he wants is to have to live in fear of losing his mother to the war.
