Cassie and Kai are linked together, due to a spell Kai did earlier on. So when Kai's family send him to the prison World, Cassie gets dragged there with him. Cassie refuses to be friends with the sociopath, so reluctantly she helps to make the ascendant. But other stuff gets in the way. She can't stay angry at her bestfriend forever. But she can try.
