(This is a story with a different plot than the original Barely Dead I wrote) 

Trapped in a room of some kind, surrounded by police, Gunner Maddox is plotting his next move. After just having gone on a massive killing spree, he is thrilled - that is, until a figure climbs through a window and joins Gunner as he is in hiding. Unbeknownst to Gunner, this figure is the Grim Reaper, a man known as Quietus Massacre. A conversation ensues between the two. Quietus is trying to persuade Gunner into switching places with him, whereas Gunner is trying to find Quietus' ulterior motives for this too-good-to-be-true, once in a lifetime offer for a position as the King of Death

Cammie isn't anything other than an ordinary girl who makes a mistake at a party. But her death leads to her meeting one of the reapers upset with the current state of affairs, and her life instantly gets more dangerous. While she's trailing behind this eccentric girl who claims to own her soul, she meets the very vampire that killed her- and he's not the only one who's taken an interest in her. The supernatural world is gearing up for war, and Cammie is one of the only ones with the chance to choose what side she wants to be on. Or, so she thinks.
