Ruby' world is ,figuratively, coming to an end, and her twin, Delany's world is literally ending. Ruby has always been a 'normal' person, but her sister, not so much. Delany always saw the world differently, as a place where nothing was as it seemed and new beginnings are everywhere. Leaving Ruby wondering how it can all be so wonderful, when people like Delaney's worlds are ending.
