Rory Summers is ambivalent about starting her freshman year at New York University. On one hand, she'll be in the one of the liveliest, most exciting cities in the world, receiving a first-class education and learning more than she can fathom; on the other, she'll be leaving home, and all all that is familiar to her, to dive headfirst into the imposing and nerve-wracking City That Never Sleeps. For the most part, however, she thinks she's got it figured out: school, exploring, friends, food, sleep. What more could she need? That is, until someone she never expected to meet comes tumbling into her life and rearranges her priorities. Can a boy - a famous boy, at that - make her re-think her entire outlook on life?
