Hunger grips my stomach as I walk along the cracked mossy road. My gas mask fogs as my breath quickens. Somethings wrong. It's too quiet. I cock my pistol and feel the click vibrate through my fingertips. I realize how exposed my position is, any moment I could die. Suddenly, there is a rustle inside the building adjacent to me. Straining me ears, i'm taken aback by what I hear. A soft weak voice calls out from inside, "Hello?". Alex lives in the ruins of a nuclear aftermath caused by world war III. This was 70 years ago, and humanity is just starting to rebuild itself. But now, there's no more fear of bombs, but of ravenous raiders who heartlessly kill for supplies. This is what Alex has grown up with. Everyday its the same. Gather supplies for the town and try not to die. But one day Alex finds something more then old wires and expired canned foods; she finds Allison. Some inspiration has come from the new game Fallout 4. Not going to use the exact names for items and whatnot, but you would maybe recognize some of the items.

The world as we knew it no longer exists. The sprawling hills, buildings that touch the sky, the sounds of life that moved through it all like a river. Now the world lies dormant. Silent. The life now replaced by death and destruction. Only a small percentage of the population exist. Mourning the loss of the dead. Except the dead didn't stay that way...
