The land of Kargon is anything but simple.  The four powers--Bomurjek, Mondejio, Akora, and Peldast--all have cordial relationships, at best.  Independent Bomurjek tribes conduct raids on not only each other but neighboring countries as well.  Mondejio is caught in a civil war between the tyrannical, aristocratic government and the oppressed rural regions.  Tempers in Akora are on the rise from recent Bomurjek raids, while Peldast's military has escalated to full war alert without reason.

Unbeknownst to the world, a device is forged that keep select people from dying.  The invention was stolen to study and exploit its potential.  Subjects of an inhumane experiment were infused with the ability to influence natural elements.  The experimental subjects became known as elementalists.  Some follow the path originally planned for them; others rebel. 

This is their story.
