After his brother abdicated the throne and the King denouncing him, Aiden was handed the responsibility of being the next heir to The Crown. It was too much big of a duty that was suddenly thrusted to him that Aiden was left feeling caged in. Being the King to rule a kingdom was never part of his dream. It was always his brother's but he was left with the duty of ensuring the threadbare peace between the South and the North advances by marrying the Northern Princess. After years of being drilled that Royalties was born without a choice as the future is already laid out at their feet, he swallowed the life that has been prepared for him.

Sandy Park was a cheerful orphan whose idea of fun is shoplifting for the adrenaline it gives and watching the sun rise from the rooftop of her house. Or anyone else's. She loves the thrill of running away from the securities, taking a swim at a lake in a dark night, and exploring abandoned buildings in  the wee hours.

Their worlds meet at a by-chance encounter which left Aiden's well made-out rules and etiquette shattered. After taking a taste of a carefree life that Sandy had showed him in just a short time, Aiden was left wanting to make a choice. 

But will that choice uphold the peace in his country? Or will it cost him his Kingdom? 

Will it set him free? Or will he lose himself in the process?
