In the heavily forrested village of Sauviragram in fifteen century Maharashtra, lived a young girl called Ilaa. Being a free spirit, Ilaa had never supported the oppression of the fair gender. She had been taught to never question the actions of the men folk of her village. But a tragic event caused the caged bird to break her shackles and soar high in the sky and do something for the women of her village.
