Originally called "you're forbidden (but I couldn't care less)" this is my first actual fanfic, so please no hate! I'll work on it, but updates may be slow. The landmarks/places, ideas, prejudices, and other things are not from pokemon world, so it's technically alternate universe. Summary: A glaceon is falsely accused for treason. Together with her leafeon cousin and flareon friend, they search for the true culprit. Despite the fact that it wasn't hard to find whose hands did the deed, there was someone working behind the scenes: they were the true culprit. Note: This story is on Wattpad and Ao3 only. Timeline of Errors
The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo.
