"Anna?" I ask as I look to the right of me. At her.

Back then she would've looked at me but instead she kept her eyes focused in front of her.

"Yeah?" She answers emotionlessly, clearly showing little interest in me now.

I pause for a second. I thought I would never say these words, at least to her. But sometching inside me felt compelled to ask this though. It's like something was missing from my life, and I think it was .. Her.

"Do you.. Think.. You could give me a second chance again?"

Finally she turns to look me in the eyes.

"I don't know Will.. I honestly don't know." Her voice distant and cold. Her eyes revealed she was deeply hurt.

I know that I'm the one who caused her heart to become calloused towards me, and I began to despise myself for it.
