The only reason she has come back was to get away from the hole she dug her self into. She is running away from her problems again. Life before she ran away wasn't as nice as the public saw it- the sherif's family, happy, and loving. Behind the doors it was orders being barked left and right with no warning or break. Since Astrid's leave, the town suddenly had a motorcycle gang that hangs around, not realling doing anything in particular, but the sherif doesn't trust them much. Hallelujah, hallelujah, my Smartphone's tone erupted Handel's Messiah like a fanfare to the doomed. I was greeted by the mother and father of headaches, well no one to blame but myself. I swore under my breath profanely, with imagination, apathetically opening my eyes. Rolling over I expected to see the outline of Holly but was confronted with an empty space where only hours before she'd reposed, kind of. At least her attractive perfume still lingered on the dented pillow.
