That is all 17-year-old Alice Grimme does nowadays.
Well, it doesn't help that she is one of few admitted to St. Grimsdale Home for Troubled Youths.

So what if she has vivid hallucinations of another world, with cute boys in flamboyant hats, having picnics and drinking tea with their rabbit-eared sisters, or giant, smart-mouthed caterpillars?
She is still herself.

That other world is what makes her, her.

But she doesn't realise how true that fact is...until everything starts to change.

Now nothing and no one is trustworthy.

Except that sweet boy in her dreams, enchanting her with stories from his past, his spectacular world and sweet, heartfelt tales of the girl he once shared it all with, before she mysteriously disappeared.
Long gone.

Or so she assumed...

As she fights to separate illusion from reality, Alice realises that maybe her little paradise is more than just an imaginary wonderland after all...
