Nightingale

A gilded Cage to protect you hear.
A gilded cage cage became a prison.
I hear you sing a happy song.
I hear you sing for the feeling of love you long.
I try to set you free.
But your fear locks the door ever tighter.
I see tears of sadness in your eyes.
You say there tears of joy.
I see your scars and bruises of the past.
you say they have healed at last.
Yet I still See them Bleed.
I will not rest Till I see you soar and fly with you to chase the stars forever more.
