The year is 2235 C.E. The fields of science and warfare are better than ever, enabling research to reach entirely new heights. In a Facility down on Planet Earth, a group known as the Agency has even cracked the human genome. A special project, the signature of the Facility, focuses on creating people molded to the standards of their creators in an attempt to create the ideal human being. These humans, known as Subjects, are the pride and joy of the Agency, used to keep an iron grip on the Seven Worlds and the people in them. Soulfire is one such Subject. She's followed the Agency's every whim for two years, ever since the day of her Awakening. Only she isn't prepared to follow their will anymore. She's no longer ready to be a pawn in their game.
